As the laptops close and the out-of-office replies start lighting up across the country, we wanted to take a moment to reflect.

It’s been a massive year here in Dunedin. When we look back at where we started in January versus where we are now, the difference is night and day. 2025 wasn’t just about growth; it was a year of building, listening, and shipping.

We’ve always believed that technology should give you time back, not take more of it. That’s the Kiwi way - finding a smarter, simpler way to get the job done (we like to think of it as quintessential Kiwi ingenuity, applied to software). This year, we stuck to our guns on that promise, and thanks to you, we’ve made some incredible progress.

The “V1” Milestone

One of our biggest highlights was taking a product that was already active across multiple countries in our beta phase and refining it into our full Version 1 experience. We moved from a tool that “worked” to a robust platform that is truly changing how teams operate.

It wasn’t just about adding features; it was about humanising automation. We wanted to make sure that every time you logged in, you felt like the tech was working for you - clearing the noise, not adding to it.

Hello, World

In November, we took a deep breath and introduced Ripple to the world. Launching was a nerve-wracking but rewarding experience. Getting our vision in front of thousands of new eyes was a huge step, and the response confirmed what we suspected: people are tired of 60-minute meetings for 10-minute problems.

Growing the Whānau

We couldn’t have done any of this without the team. We’ve built out our internal crew this year, bringing in some incredible talent to support our next phase of growth. We’re a diverse team that bring a lot of passion to what we do, but don’t take ourselves too seriously. Seeing the team come together to solve complex problems with such creativity has been a privilege to watch.

Feedback Was Our Fuel

We want to send a huge thank you to the partners who believed in us early on. Your feedback has been the fuel in our engine. Every comment, every suggestion, and every “aha” moment you shared with us has helped shape Ripple into what it is today, and we’re only just getting started. You’re helping us build a platform for people, not just for productivity.

Bring on 2026

We’re heading into the break stronger than ever. We’ve wrapped up our strategic planning, and we have a clear path for where we want to take Ripple in the new year.

For now, though, it’s time to disconnect, recharge, and enjoy the summer. Whether you’re heading to the bach, the beach, or just the backyard BBQ, we hope you get some well-deserved downtime.
